Soup Dragon left this review about Bagot Arms

This is a detached Stonegate pub, with patio areas. It is a 20/30s pub, built during the large development of the area at that time. It is a mock-c17th, two-storey brick, winged-corridor styled build, with a hipped roof, dormers, tall stacks and a decorative cornice. The interior has at least a couple of room - the larger, where I assume most of the eating and the music nights occur, I didn't see - although I heard a singer/karaoke coming from the room. I just nipped into, what turned out to be, the bar room. The room was tidy, being in cream, wood panel and some toffee colour, with prints of sport and weird photos of sports equipment on the walls. There is a pool table and dart board, as well as a few TVs that were showing footy. There are red bench seats and tables (with food menus on). The service was fine and a couple of mature blokes were in my room - clearly others were in the other room! Beer; three handpulls and one EPA sign, turned around. Usual keg stuff with a decent enough M&B MILD. Happy enough to have popped in, but nothing really for the real ale fan.
