Old Boots left this review about The Thomas Sheraton (JD Wetherspoon)

L shaped 'spoons with the usual furnishings and the usual two banks of six pumps. The usuals and ciders are mostly on one bank with guests on the other bank. There's a mezzanine floor which looks like it belongs there rather than having been shoehorned in, nice skylight from its former life.

This is the only one of the three Stockton JDWs actually in the town itself. It's an old building with two raised areas at the front and an upstairs area I didn't look at. The building was built as a County Court. There were a few in on my late Wednesday afternoon visit. Although there are twelve hand pumps the beer choice was average with the JDW Trio Of Doom, Rudgate Charlotte's Web & Cry Wolf, Rooster's Distant Sun, another Abbot and five available soon. I went for the Rudgate Charlotte's Web (£1.99) which was in good enough nick.
This is probably the best of the three Stockton Spoons but with the limited beer choice it isn't that great.

Large main open room in typical Wetherspoons style, but the addition of a balcony area & library make this an interesting large space & better than average.

Usual menu & 6 real ales.

Sadly the service here is poor and the pub seems a hideout for the less polite of Stockton society!

Gill Smith left this review about Sir Thomas Sheraton

Had a job finding this pub on site as I don't have it down as "Sir". It is a Wetherspoons and I would say one of the best as it was clean and tidy with a good range of real ales on. Having a minifest showcasing Ossett, Fernandes and Riverhead beers, and we enjoyed Ossett On the Piste and Fernandes Great Northerner.
