The interior layout is as described by Aqualung, below, and was formed by knocking through the original downstairs rooms. There is a DJ booth in the centre. The outside terrace at the front was pretty horrible, not helped by the loud music emanating from inside, and there is a small covered smoking area at the back. The furniture looks like it was rescued from a canteen somewhere, and there isn’t much of it. There was no real ale or cider available, just Bath Gem and Doombar in bottles. Cheap and nasty cocktails were available alongside the usual keg offerings. There was a lingering aroma of soap-dodger and it was generally horrible. I’ll duck this one in future.

Although this looks like quite an old pub it's been heavily modernised inside. There is a patio at the front and also one at the rear. Inside it's a roughly square single room with the bar to the right and a pool area to the left. There are some walls with brickwork and bookcase wallpaper and TVs everywhere which were all on with the sound off. A music soundtrack was playing.
There are just two hand pumps which had Hobgoblin and an unmarked Butcombe Original which was in excellent nick but served in a dimple mug. They had a special offer for October where cask ales were £1.99.
It's not my sort of place but the beer quality was first class.

Excellent food and very reasonably priced....friendly pub that caters for children, incl play area and little colouring book to occupy while waiting for food. Two adults, and childrens meal incl drinks (bottle of wine) £22, outstanding price! The bbq chicken stack is lush.

Great local pub, with excellent food. Lovely garden in the summer with kids play area, 3 real ales and a good selection of wine. Food is great and good value, well worth a visit.
