Quinno _ left this review about Garibaldi

Well-appointed and aged place overlooking Burnham Park and appears very upmarket from the outside. Inside though it's surprisingly bland. The bar is divided in two, a small room in each bar via an open doorway (small step up). To the left is a flagstone floor locals bar, the right is carpeted and more sedate. There's a central fireplace in the separator that looked like a real one on glance though it wasn’t lit. Chilly inside and a faint smell of damp dog didn’t help matters. A couple of tabloids available to peruse. Three ales at the bar; Youngs Special, Pride and Tribute. My half of Tribute was in good nick. Apparently there’s a large garden but I didn’t spot how to get there.
