A large rural roadside pub on the B5130 between Wrexham and the English border. There is a large lounge area mainly set for dining plus a smaller but comfortable bar area to the right of the pub. This has a TV screen which was showing European Championship football on my visit. From the bar, a door leads to the patio area and the car park. Real Ales were London Pride and Doom Bar but due to "pipe cleaning" time, I had to choose a Czech lager.
Owned by the White Horse in Churton (4 miles away across the English border in Cheshire) since June 2016.
