Blue Scrumpy left this review about The Swan Inn

The Swan was our last of 3 pubs in the city of St Asaph. Not opening until 4pm, we saved this one until last.

The drinking environment is a lot more relaxed than the other pubs in town. You are allowed inside and few of the Covid formalities are followed. There is also a much more noticeable younger crowd here too and shortly after the doors opening, it had started to fill up quickly.

Reasonably loud music was emanating from a jukebox, the Olympics were on the TV and a pool table to the rear right-hand side of the bar were all quickly in use.

All handpulls have currently been removed. So, the choice was keg only - Guinness, Strongbow Dark Fruit, Inch's, Old Mout Cherries & Berries, Heineken, Birra Moretti, John Smith's & Fosters. Although the young barmaid did state that they were hoping to get real ale back on again soon.

Disappointing pub in a very disappointing city.
