As noted below this is now back to being called The Corporation. The layout is the same, 3 roomed. The larger rear room has only a few seats and tables and the pool table (if they've still got one) was absent on this Friday afternoon visit. The 2 front rooms are sparsely decored. There is still the two serveries, front right and the one at the rear, with the small front bar housing the 2 handpumps. Only Rev James was on today. The rear bar has a lot more keg taps. Its not the best but its far from being bad. At least its open.

The new owners have now reverted to the original name "Corporation Arms" (now under the same ownership as "The Feathers" in the same town). Real Ale has returned (Brains Reverend James) and the pub is now open 12noon until Midnight (11pm Sun).

This place is closed, though it is currently being gutted and remade as a pub + accommodation place according the the nice folks in the Wine Vaults next door. When it is due to reopen and what it will be called I have no idea.

In spite an excellent renovation in 2014, the pub has struggled in recent times. The owners, Atwill Pubs, have put it up for sale. Real Ale has been discontinued and the pub is currently only open at weekends.

Same layout as its previous incarnation but only 2 cask ales available. Not great but decent enough.

The Cock o' Rhudd Din, Ruthin (Ex Corporation Arms) has recently reopened selling four cask ales from micro breweries (including "Cock and Sup-It Best Bitter" brewed for Atwill by Titanic Brewery). The pub is operated by Atwill pubs, a company which has a portfolio of 9 pubs in the North West and Wales. The "Cock" retains its four rooms with a polished floor bar and a carpeted lounge to the front, with a pool room and darkened music room to the rear.
