Old Boots left this review about Three Tuns Inn

A long village pub with a large bar to the right of the entrance corridor, to the left is a games room with a dart board. The bar has a counter in one corner, six hand pulls although only four in use, Reverend James, York Guzzler and Camerons Strongarm, the fourth had a cider and the other two weren't in use, the beer was fairly good if a little cold to start with. At the back is a more formal dining room and there's a pool table in a side room, both with a bit of counter space. Decor is watercolours of Dales subjects along with the more usual pub fayre of maps and ciggy cards, there are some miners lamps, lead mining rather than coal mining I expect in Teesdale, and there's a couple of machines. Decent food, beer and friendly staff.
