Colin Walker left this review about Bankton House Hotel

Bankton Wood Road, Livingston, EH54 9AQ. A building built in 1812, which by the 1900’s was neglected and lay derelict until 1980. Sergio Candusso, an entrepreneur had the building restored and by 1983 it was back to its former glory. The family run hotel is now on its third generation. There is a lounge / bar where lunches and dinners are served. Plus there is also a beer garden, which can be used when the weather prevails. The train station Livingston South is just over 200metres away with Edinburgh 15minutes away and Glasgow 40 minutes away. http://www.banktonhousehotel.co.uk
