Pub is surrounded by scaffolding and the planning notice on it says they are converting to dwellings so this one will not reopen as a pub.

Called lunchtime yesterday and the pub wasn't open. I was told by customers in the Britannia further down the road that it had been closed since before Christmas.

Called in to see what this pub is like after reopening, and found it to be a clean tidy pub with one real ale on. It was Fullers Summer Ale and was in good condition. Small beer garden at the back.

Pub is Rambling Miner not Rambling Minor. It has been up for sale for a while but reopens under new management at 4pm today, so we will pop down to see what is on at some point during our stay.
