Although there's not much sign of it offering accommodation, I would rate this as the best pub in Armadale. It has a quaint, old fashioned style bar room with a horseshoe bar and dark wood ceiling beams and supporting pillars. The lighting and music are both low level and the two TVs had the sound muted. The decor features St. Andrew's Cross flags and Scotland international football tops, scarves and pennants. It's also good value for money with a pint of Guinness costing £3. Belhaven Best, Tennent's lager and Strongbow cider are also on draught, but the single hand pump had no real ale.

When entering the front door, the first impression that the place is a pub, as there is no sign of a reception. Still great pub. Plenty of Scotland International team memorabilia adorn the walls.

Believe this establishment has just had a handpump installed and that they are dispensing Alechemy's excellent ales. I know they are excellent having visied the brewery last Wednesday.
