This little village has become a slightly posh residential area and the pub has followed suit. The interior has been sleekly modernised with a modern stone floor and tasteful furnishings. There is a reasonable bar area with dining areas either side and a garden at the rear. Draught ales were Atlantic and Doom Bar with Old Rosie also on handpump. Good for walkers but parking is quite limited and the narrow roads to the end of the village don't help.

Called in as I was about to start the Coast to Coast walk from Devoran to Scorrier, and as the pub was open decided to start our walk after refreshment. It was a friendly local pub near the quay in the village. A lot of wood around the walls and wooden floor. Lovely outside drinking area terraced at the rear of the pub. Choice of real ales on offer and I enjoyed a well kept Otter Bitter. Bus 43 runs there from Truro, Redruth and Camborne.
