A large carvery pub with adjoining hotel by the main road north. What is presumably the original pub can be seen at one end of this large establishment. The extensive interior has lots of light wood tables giving a bright feel, with one little area of armchairs. Unsurprisingly all is aimed at diners, with the central carvery being very popular. The hotel part is separate to one side. At the rear is an large terraced patio with steps leading down to a children's play area below. Even the car park is on multiple levels! Beers are from St Austell/Bath and kept in good condition (Cask Marque). Mainly for eating rather than drinking, but still ok for a beer or two.

This is a massive hotel and restaurant on the main A390 road into Truro. When you go through the door, the hotel entrance is to the right and the bar to the left. Tables were not set for dining, and they had 2 St Austell ales on, Proper Job and Tribute. There were a lot of people eating so we took our beer out to the decking at the back which was very pleasant. No problem with beer quality.
