Always loved this pub a couple of years ago for the food rather than the beer, but it was closed last year. New people have taken it on, and it is serving superb beer and increased the number available. Pool table has gone and a small stage has been set up in the one roomed bar for live music. There are not just booked acts, but the instruments are there for jamming night, Monday. Food menu reasonably priced, and we tried the lasagne and it was great to have a tasty meal on the plate rather than served in a little pot. It is on main bus routes for 14, 18 and 540 between Truro and Redruth, or we can actually walk to it, we will be back. There is a massive beer garden outside at the rear of the bar, and the toilets are also outside. The gents has a grafitti wall but although tempted to go to the door to read some of the artistic comments, I didn't dare! Coastal Overkill and Tintagel Harbour Special tried both excellent. Another visit and Spingo Special brilliant. Lobsters in the tank outside called Table 1 and Table 2. There are fish dishes available on the menu.
