A pleasant enough pub in the main shopping street. The walls were plastered in old black and white photo's of St. Ives, mostly focusing on it's nautical heritage. I'm sure they'd make a fascinating study for a historian, and were very interesting to an uneducated punter such as myself.
There's a dart board in one corner, although it didn't look to get too much use judging by all the tables in front of it. The walls are part wood panelling at the bottom, giving way to an orange plaster above, which is then covered with the aforementioned photo's. There's also a couple of leather sofa's dotted around a fireplace. The barman seemed pleasant enough, and generously offered to top a pint whose head had settled without any prompting. The choice of piped music was a bit weird though.
The solitary beer on tap was Doom Bar, which was a little disappointing. Ciders were Cornish Orchard and Cornish Rattler.
