This has been called the "New Century Bar" ever since I can remember first passing by it (which must be as long as over 30 years ago), so the name presumably refers to the turn of the 19th/20th centuries. The exterior looks old enough to support that, but inside it has been considerably modernised, although the ceiling, chandeliers and pillars in the middle of the floor provide traces of its past. With live bands some nights, it is obviously now aiming for a younger market. It was quiet when I visited, with music playing at a reasonable level for conversation, although it was a Tuesday night. A "Free House," but the beers on offer were just the usual staples.

Usaual draught selection. Satellite fitba available & the pub is within walking distance of fir park.
