Paul McScotty left this review about Machan Vaults

The Machan Vaults that rarest of animals in Larkhall, a Celtic pub (and home of the supporters club) in staunch Glasgow Rangers territory. Saying that Larkhall is a pretty close community (for a large town) and most folk know each other and mix well so don't believe the hype. Situated just of the main road (close to the rail station) the Machan is an attractive traditional looking whitewashed pub from the outside with burgundy logos (maybe going with green was a step to far) inside is nice and clean with a stone cladding type area with tables and seats, the bar also has a pool table area, juke box and ample seating. The bar itself is well stocked with the usual array of beers (Tennents, Guinness, Bellhaven, Carling etc) and spirits I had a nice pint of Bellhaven best at £2.90 about average for the area - I think the bar sells food but I didn't have time to eat - The Bar staff AND LOCALS were friendly - Well worth a visit if in the area (maybe not after an old firm game though)
