David Ross left this review about The Inn

This is now called "The Forth Inns." Despite the plural in its name, however, it is just one pub, although consisting of distinct drinking and dining areas. The former is a large, oblong shaped lounge style bar room with padded seating around the walls, bright lighting and wooden flooring. It is partly divided by a partition, with one section containing a pool table, a dart board, games machines and a large screen TV. On draught are Fosters and Carling lagers, Guinness, John Smith’s bitter and Strongbow cider. All except Guinness are on sale at only £2.40 a pint from Monday to Thursday. On the Friday evening I called in, a pint of John Smith’s cost me £2.85. There were, however, only two other customers, although it was between 7.00 and 8.00 p.m. I imagine it livens up later, though, as a free juke box is advertised after 8.00 p.m. The pool table is also free of charge from Monday to Thursday. The dining area is completely separate, with its own entrance at the side of the building. It has the appearance of a small restaurant and serves breakfast, lunch and evening meals daily. This is definitely the more up-market of the village’s two remaining hostelries, but is rather too modern and lacking in pub atmosphere for my taste.
