David Ross left this review about The Stonehouse

A rather bare looking modern bar/lounge with wooden floors and, mostly, chairs around tables or bar stools for seating, although there are some more comfortable seats against the walls. The grey and turquoise colour scheme, inside and out, isn’t particularly appealing, but there is an impressive illuminated gantry stocked with numerous bottles of wines, spirits etc. Tennents, Fosters, Stella Artois and Carling lagers, John Smith’s bitter, Guinness and Strongbow cider are all available on draught. A cocktail menu is also on display at the bar and on tables. There are three big screen TVs, a juke box and, on Friday nights, a resident DJ, playing 60s, 70s and 80s music.
