Now advertised as the Crawford Arms Hotel and Truck Stop, this continues to attract passing custom from the nearby M74 Motorway with cheap accommodation and food and early opening, from 6.00 a.m. All day breakfasts are available, as are a Snack Menu during the day and evening meals at night. Fosters, Carlsberg and Kronenberg lagers, Tetley’s bitter, McEwan’s 70 Shilling, Guinness and Strongbow cider are all on draught, with Fosters costing £3.20 a pint. A small lounge area, off the main bar, has now been added, with sofa seating instead of bar stools and chairs. There is also a separate Games Room, with a pool table and dart board and its own serving hatch.

A favourite overnight stopping off point for truck drivers, due to its proximity to the M74 and inexpensive accommodation and bar meals. It's also the village pub and has a lively atmosphere at night, although the bar is functional rather than attractive.
