The Boars Head is recently under new management with the new tenant having 20 plus years of experience in hospitality and food offering, which will service the surrounding housing estate customer base more effectively. The pub focus is now, more than ever, aimed at a more family oriented atmosphere, allowing a comfortable dining area, games area and of course a warm fire to ward off the chill of the night with a pint of your favorite ale with friends.

The sign above the door says this is a "Traditional Local Pub" and, while it aims for an old fashioned look, the interior is obviously relatively modern. Being located some distance away from Airdrie town centre, the clientele consists mostly of locals from the surrounding housing estates. Nice enough, but not really worth going out of your way to visit.
