Soup Dragon left this review about Brodick Bar

There is a rather plain white exterior, with chocolate coloured paint work to this 'Bar and Brasserie', just up a side street in Brodick. Owned by the same people that run the Wineport a few miles away. It has a beer garden.

The interior has a couple of areas; a plainer square bar and the brasserie area. The decor has pale green walls, with some wood panel, a white ceiling and a tartan carpet. It is slightly clinical. There is a fakey stone fireplace and a wood panelled serving bar in the corner. There seemed a lot of animal pictures on the walls, along with a few bistro styled things. I saw no TV and the music was general stuff at a decent level. The service was fine, there were just a couple of other people in at my visit. I didn't eat, so can't comment on that.

Beer; no real ale that i saw. The excellent Moretti continental lager was on, as was Guinness, which was OK.

One aimed at those that like keg drinks and like the foody style of place. One of the few which are not integral to a hotel. The Wineport does real ale, which is sadly missing from here.
