Under New Management, super friendly staff and is open all week. Sun-Thurs 11am to 11pm. Fri-Sat 11am to 12am. Function hire is second to none and staff were really helpful with all my Inquiries. The best pint I have tasted in years, super cooled. The manager does state the pub will be renevated soon, but the place has had a good clean and fix up just now. There is always something going on, Karaoke, live acts, pool tournaments and darts. There is bt sports and live racing which is always a plus for my man.

No longer looking very new, this consists of a separate bar and lounge, although only the former was open despite it being a Friday evening. As the lounge is advertised as being available for hire for private functions, I suspect it’s not open on a regular basis. The bar is a very basic, square room with seating around the sides and lots of standing room in the middle. It contains the customary TVs, juke box, games machines and a pool table. The tarmac seating area at the front looks onto a busy road and could only loosely be described as a beer garden. Belhaven Best sells at £2.90 a pint and Guinness, Tennent’s, Carling and Budweiser lagers and Strongbow and Blackthorn ciders are also on draught.
