This is a one room bar which has stood on this site for 100 years. It is a friendly bar with great staff. Always a welcome. By day it is a very much a "Local" By evening it is still a "Local" It is well known for Saturday night Subway Crawlers! Oh and what fun that is!!!! Karaoke by the fab Ms S F RAE. Never a dull moment. I must also mention the Charity Nights. So much money has been raised by the"Locals" and friends for good causes. Cant go wrong with a wee visit to a very friendly pub!!!!!!! Well done Harry & great Staff.

A basic and unpretentious small, one roomed bar on the edge of the city's west end, the Castle attracts a mainly middle aged clientele. Prices are low at only £2.80 for a pint of Guinness and there are even reduced price offers for OAPs. Tartan Special, Strongbow cider and Tennents and Carling lager are also available on draught.
