Quinno _ left this review about The Buchanan Arms Hotel

A Best Western hotel with a public bar (note the bowling green to the side of the building). Done out quite nicely in a baronial style with wood floor, embossed leather chairs, moulded coats of arms, fake black beams and an impressive bar set behind a stone arch. The overall ambience was somewhat spoilt by the jumbo TV showing rugby league to an audience of nil. Noted a room off to the right with brown tartan-style paper. No ale but Fraioch and Williams Bros Alloa Caesar Augustus in bottles. As an aside I stayed at the hotel for the night and it was pretty good but spent most of my evening in the Clachan.

Graham Coombs left this review about Buchanan Arms Hotel

Best Western Hotel on edge of village which includes a small but comfortable baronial-type bar in the centre. Sadly only a keg beer and lager.
