David Ross left this review about Bothwell Bridge Hotel

At the higher end of the range of hotels in the vicinity, the Bothwell Bridge is very popular for wedding receptions and other similar functions. The extensive building is dominated by the residential sections, function suites and restaurants and surrounded by flower and statue filled gardens. The drinking area, the “Da Vinci Bar,” is a large, rectangular lounge with sofa and armchair seating and a glass roofed conservatory at the front. This would provide a good view of the old village church if it wasn’t obstructed by the Hotel’s car park. The range of draught beer is limited, with only Carling lager, Belhaven Best and Peroni on tap, although my pint of Peroni was better value than expected at £3.40. The clientele includes a mix of locals, Hotel residents and refugees from adjacent functions.
