On the review of the pub for Kudos, before it became The Woods, it said that the Alhambra Inn, then The Rabbie Burns were on that same site. Kudos & The Woods addresses are listed as 29 Waterloo Street when it should be listed as 31. See my comment on The Woods.

The Alhambra Bar was situated at the corner of Waterloo and wellington in Glasgow city center main bar was upstairs and had a L shape bar .

very busy nite spot with great party atmosphere
Andreas Costa's was the proprietor and manager taking over from owner Louis Evaristi in late 70s until around 1989 when Peter Smith took over till it closed around 1994
opened briefly as Rabbie Burns Tavern for around a year in 95 but was not successful in that guise old customers did not take to changes made to music and ambiance and it closed down again only months later Building demolished 2006
