2 roomed bar and lounge serving food, real ale and advertising live music. In a previous incarnation the pub was called the right wing and was owned by Gordon Smith a member of the famous five forward line that played for Hibernian Football Club. Some Gordon Smith and brewery memorabilia on the walls in the bar area.

Owned by the couple the used to own the GBG listed Johnsburn House in Balerno.
4 hand pulls of which 3 will serve ever changing guest beers. The 4th being dedicated to Caledonian Deuchars.

William Purnell left this review about The Right Wing
Pub originally owned by Gordon Smith Hibernian FC right winger. The pub was sold after being renovated, including the building of a conservatory. It was later to change its name from 'The Right Wing' to 'Republik' and incorporated a Chinese restaurant. Has now closed and is boarded up.
