Bar serving a standard draught selection plus 2 real ales and food. The bar has a pool table and a dartboard. Live music and live tv sport advertised.

The Footlights is a fantastic, traditional pub. Both staff and locals are very friendly and there's always a good atmosphere in here.
Drinks are quite cheap and there is a fantastic range to choose from. Being a real ale man I think they serve a cracking pint of Deuchars IPA, never really had a badly poured pint here. On top of that there are several other draughts on offer.
The other main plus for this pub is for watching sport on TV. There are screens everyhwere so no matter where you are you can watch whatever is on, everytime a game is on TV it will be on here. As well as this they have two excellent pool tables as well as darts, bandits and quiz machines.
Never been disappointed by the food either which has pub classics all for a great price, you can also get deals if buying more than one main course!
Overall one of my favourite pubs and I one I would thoroughly recommend.

Just over the road from the Blue Blazer and useful if you want to get something to eat as they have a good and reasonably priced menu which is available 11am to 10pm daily. Popular for sport with a large screen that was showing racing on my visit. Only one handpump, Deuchars IPA. A nice clean pub with a good atmosphere.
