Blackbird is a bar with seating to the right of the entrance and a bar to the left that faces a couple of high tables up the left wall. There’s a couch under the front window and there was some background music playing whilst a muted film aired on the television. Service was polite, but the draught options are limited to standard keg alongside Estrella. Cocktails are more popular here. A limited food menu is available, the burger is priced at £11. The main draw for this place is the large beer garden out the back, most of which is decked with seating. During a recent midweek afternoon visit this place was very busy, in fact there wasn’t a table free inside or out.
