Colin Walker left this review about The No5 Inn

The pub is situated off the Stirling Road near to the hills. The name of the pub comes from the supposed story / legend that this inn was the 5th inn / stop that Robert Burns stopped at on his way from Stirling to the north in 1787, hence the name, No5 Inn! A very tradition and cosy interior with some Robert Burns material adorns the walls. There is a good choice of whisky available. The pub serves 2 real ales. There is parking available next to the pub and across the road.

Common - sense had prevailed. No5 is open as a pub again and has introduced real ale.
