Is Stella meant to taste of garlic? A question I kept asking myself in this place. It's a longish rectangle with raised areas at both ends, one with a pool table while a second table occupies the space between the other raised area and the rear mounted counter. There’s only one screen and the clientele is noticeably younger than is usual for the Kilmarnock pubs I tried. This made the choice of juke box music seem surprisingly ancient, I though perhaps it was on free play until a young chap chose some 80s rubbish. Seating in some booths opposite the counter with tables and chairs on the raised part, the middle, apart from the side booths is devoted to vertical drinking with three barrels as tall tables. This area probably serves as an auditorium for live music on the raised area, after shifting its pool table, judging by the adverts and lighting set-up. I won't mention the beer......... garlic?

Booked the arena back in june for my 18th birthday party. Got a good deal it was free to hire which included bouncers & DJ. Only thing i had to pay for was a buffet which they supplied but it was pretty poor (it was was optional). Apart from that good pub, cheap drink and a good laugh.
