David Ross left this review about The Victoria Bar

The Victoria is a very basic working man's bar (as they used to be known). Being a bit away from the town centre, it was much quieter than the pubs there and mainly frequented by locals, some of whom, I have to say, looked rather dodgy. It wasn't any cheaper than most of the other Dunoon pubs, though, with Belhaven Best costing £3.10 a pint. Guinness, Tennent's lager and Strongbow cider were also on draught. The lighting was bright, the music loud and pool tables dominated the main bar and the games room to the side. All in all, it's a bit rough and not worth the walk up the hill from the waterfront unless you're intent (as I was) on having a pint in every pub in town.
