A locals outlet a stroll out of the immediate centre. Rectangular bar, tidy black and white chequerboard flooring, 3/4 length wood panelling, long wine coloured leather banquettes and impressive wooden bar back – quite a pleasant place to imbibe. No Dopey Dick beers despite the large wall advert (grr) so a Guinness again, which was a good drop. The locals were chatty and friendly to a pair of English tourists, so it’s worth a recommend for that. 6.5
