Soup Dragon left this review about Blakes of the Hollow

A terraced period pub that has the name William Blake. Like every pub in the whole of Ireland it seems, this place also doesn't do real ale - but it is a delight to visit. The interior is predominantly Victorian. There is an off-sales snug to the side on entering, then the pub is divided into three on a couple of levels. The pub as a whole is in wood panel, with three large barrels (once used for the beer) built into the serving bar. A small bar area is at the front, then up the stairs there is a second, with booths off to the side. At the back there is a pool room decked out with local GAA and footy stuff. There is a TV - and no music at my visits. Some ephemera, including a tray collection, decorate the bars. Service was very friendly and the place had a mixed clientele. Had the Guinness and the three Smithwick's beers (red, pale and blonde). Delight to visit and would definitely go back.
