The Albert is a small old school local’s boozer on a corner just to the north of the town centre. The bar counter along the rear wall supports limited standard keg alongside Madri, and two of the three hand pumps were in operation drawing Pedigree and Old Speckled Hen. There is a dartboard and the walls are adorned with Stoke City memorabilia. No television, but a local was watching the Ashes on a laptop at the bar. I’m sure all the locals all love it in here, good luck to them.

A nice enough, small, friendly little pub just outside the town centre. A single front room, though there is a back room that was occupied by the pub dog. 3 handpulls on the bar but a rather rubbish selection of either Pedigree or Old Speckled Hen. Its a nice enough place and you're not allowed to swear.
