Strange little place hidden amongst the rear delivery entrances of several large shops. You have to press a buzzer to gain entry which is very strange, especially as there are no windows, so you can't see into the bar but they can watch you on CCTV. Small wooden floored bar with instruments hung up behind the bar. There was no music in the bar when we called in as there was Irish dancing going on in an upstairs room for which they wanted £2 entrance, so we didn't bother. Standard range of Irish kegs, so I had a Guinness which was fine. Soon after we arrived a large group of Spanish students arrived and took over the place, even stranger. Not a place we would bother to call in again when in Belfast.

Tucked away in a bit of a run down area and the electronic door entry system doesn’t make it any more welcoming to the casual visitor. However once inside you’ll find a small friendly traditional Irish bar decorated with a musical theme that has regular live music - either planned or spontaneous.
