Well-run large pub in Trelwany's village selling St Austells beers and good food. Divided into different areas so easy to find a corner, with a games room to the side. Cask marque listed.

This is a large white rendered detached St Austell pub and restuarant that also does accommodation. It is in the GBG and has a massive patio and beer garden. Allegedly it was a 16th century farmhouse, but with extensions and remodelling, the building style seems to be more mix of a Georgian and Victorian one, with later additions. The name dates to the golden jubilee of Victoria in 1887.

The interior has a central bar which services what is in general an irregular opne plan pub, but with several areas - most laid out for dining, with tables and chairs, as well as settles. The decor is white ceiling and walls, with some wood panel and a mix of stone and red carpeted floor. An impressive fireplace dominates one area and there is lots of Victoriana on the walls, as well as photos of the pub. There is a small side area which has a pool table and dart board, along with a TV that wasn't on at my visit. There is a Sunday Mirror cutting on the wall here dating to 1978, which has the prices of beer on it - 19p for St Austell! I spent my time in here so didn't see too much of the rest of the place. The service was fine whilst i was the only person in the smaller bar/games area the rest of the place (and the beer garden) were busy with diners and a good mixed clientele.

Beer; usual tap stuff with St Austell Tribute, Proper Job, Trelawny and a very good Black Prince on handpull.

An excellent place that has everything - a country pub for dining, lazy afternnons outside in the sun and playing pool in a dedicated bar room, while sipping good beer and having the option to dine. Very much worth a visit.

We discovered Jubilee Inn several years ago when holidaying in Pelynt. It's now a regular haunt of ours whenever we are in that neck of the woods. The staff are always so welcoming, the food is delicious and the menu changes often so that there is plenty of choice. Looking forward to our next visit and can't recommend it highly enough.

St Austell Brewery pub offering Black Prince black ale (I was offered me a taster without me asking for one), Proper Job, Liquid Sunshine, Tribute. I had the Black Prince and it was fine.
This is a four roomed pub with a pool table in one room and a big open fireplace in the main room and a big beer garden to the rear. The building dates back as a farmhouse to the 16th Century but an inn since 1834 (although the ceiling beams had a newish look).

It is a traditional country pub, with a friendly and homely feel. Open all day. GBG entry.

I’d happily go back for a few ales and lunch next time I’m in that neck of the woods.
