Soup Dragon left this review about Rock & Fountain

An end terraced pub, with patio. It has been a pub since the 1870s at least and the small front gables do give a slight Victorian look, despite the fact that the pub has modern signage and is in a pale green render, with darker green paintwork. The interior is an open plan room, which has coffe and chocolate walls, with a green ceining and a wood floor. There is a pool table at one end. The TV wasn't on and there was no music. The service was friendly, as too were the few locals, and i ended up having a good chat to one chap about local football. Beer; usual tap stuff with two handpull having the rather unexciting Worthington's and Bass on - the Worthies ended-up going and so i had the Bass, which was fine enough. A cheery enough place for a swifty - happy to have popped in.
