Soup Dragon left this review about Crofty Inn

This is a detached Tomas Watkin pub, with rear patio area. It became a pub in 1858, when Crofty was little more than the pub and a few houses. The pub as brown organically and now consists of a two storey build, with a long low-level extension. It is all in cream render, with sympathetic modern windows. The pub has a couple of rooms, as well as a conservatory area. The lounge was in darkness, and is the dining area, so we headed into the bar, which is an irregular shaped room in yellow, coffee and brick. It has a tile floor. There is a pool table and a dart board, as well as a TV (not on) and there was no music. The walls had rugby memorabilia on them, as well as cigarette cards and other ephemera. The seating is both bench and chairs, all patterned. The service was fine and there were a few locals in. Beer; no real ale, just Watkin's lager, cider, Cwrw Braf Bitter and a decent Dark MILD in keg. It was nice to have a new MILD and I was more than happy to visit - but nothing for the real ale fan.
