Only pub in a lovely village. Right on the harbour. Dog friendly area around the bar with wooden floors. A threadbare carpet leading to dining rooms with sea views to all sides. This is right on the harbour.

Friendly staff, holiday makers and locals.

Food was very good. Fish, just landed off the boat in the last couple of hours. Beers from St Austell were in very good condition. Much better than a couple of pubs I have been to over the week.

A very pleasant experience.

Stuck right on the end of the harbour at Coverack Bay with views in all directions, so naturally a major draw for tourists and feels like it. A large bar, with a conservatory extension and a clean open feel, mainly given over to food with ranks of tables. Some benches outside also. Service at the bar was pretty poor, although we might have just been unlucky. Beers from St Austell were fair enough. Perhaps it develops more atmosphere out of season.

Just popped in for a beeer while walking the coastal path and discovered that this pub has changed management and its brewery, now under St Austell ales the pint of Proper Job is nectar.
Restaurant was busy so we ate some tasy fish at the bar.

Beautiful setting & a very pleasant pub/hotel. Small beer garden & car park. The food was good but unimaginative - almost the same menu in every pub for 15 miles radius. 3 real ales: Doom Bar, Betty Stogs & some national crap. It would be better if a strong brew was available such as HSD or Sharps Special for example. 6 of us were in the village for a week & visited this house every night until mid-week when we discovered that a number of our party were charged different prices for the same drink. Another member of the party was short changed. lthough not for one moment suggesting this is a regular occurrence it left a sour taste within the group. Although the only pub in the village we boycotted the place from the Wednesday.

A beautiful situation an a headland at Coverack. Has had considerable renovation in the last few years but still retains its character. Good food and good beer.
