This place consists of a rectangular room wrapped around an almost island bar. The interior is modern with white leather clad furnishings and some fancy modern wall lights. It's a bad case of the Curse of Sky Sports as I counted three large screens that nobody was watching.
Although there is a solitary hand pump it was unused so I had a pint of Thatchers Gold cider (£3.00). I subsequently spotted keg Banks's Original Mild which would have been a better option. This is in fact a Marston's pub although they don't seem to advertise it as such. It only reinforces my low opinion of that company.
