This pub was something of a disappointment but not a surprise given its location. The interior is well described by Soupy, below, and apart from a bit of paint here and there hasn’t really been much change. Sadly the pub is now a grockle magnet full of screaming entitled brats, along with their wives and children. Large portions of standard pub grub, much of it left uneaten and wasted, are on offer, both as sustenance and, in a couple of cases, ammunition. Many of the older male clients were boorish, while the mothers were largely the entitled screaming and whooping breed. The staff were pleasant even though over-worked and under-appreciated. Two ales on, Tribute and Proper Job, both in average condition, certainly not worth enduring the crowds for. I don’t think I’d bother again, at least not at feeding time.

The King of Prussia is a large looking pub which is in a prime position facing Fowey's harbour.
Once inside the bar faces in an oblong shaped room which runs the width of the pub, the floor is carpeted, the seating is normal tables and chairs and one tall table and chairs.
The pub is a St Austell tied house, there were three real ales on the bar, we had a drink of St Austell Proper Job, which went down very well, the other St Austell beers were Cornish Best and Tribute.
A decent enough pub to have a drink in.

Despite dating to the later Victorian period, this is a fantastic Georigain styled building, sadly now in a garish pink render between the white moulded endstones and string courses. It is a pub that does food and accommodation. The front door is on the first floor level and accessed by a stairway - parking for motorcycles/bikes is underneath, with the building supported on columns. It is symmetrical, with bay and sash windows and a dormer on top, with nice window boxes.
The interior is a single room, with the wood bar facing you as you enter. The decor is white and coffee wood panelled walls, with white and some beam ceiling and patterned carpet floor, except for the corner where there is a raised area with a wood floor. There are a couple of fireplaces, one at either end. It is populated with clean wooden tables and chairs giving it a foody feel, though you still feel it is a pub. I didn't eat here so can't comment on that. Sea and boat pictures decorate the walls along with a few bottles, a barrel and jugs for a bit of a feature. There is a TV, but this wasn't on at my visit and the music was mixed and at a decent level. The service here was fine and the place fairly busy with what looked like a mixed bunch of holiday makers.
Beer; the usual stuff on tap, with a range of St Austell offerings; Tribute, Proper Job and a decent Trelawny.
I thought it was a decent enough place and was more than happy to have visited - it deserves it for the exterior - though preferred the blue!

Large open plan pub with views of the estuary. Suprisingly quiet when we visited late on Friday evening. Not much in the way of atmosphere, but a decent enough pub.
Four hand pumps at the bar, but they were all duplicated so there were actually only two beers on, both from St. Austell's. Also Blackthorn and Cornish Rattler cider.
