The Galleon Inn's front entrance is on Foewy's shopping street.
There is an L shaped room inside with the bar on the left side, there is a beamed ceiling and a stone tiled floor, the seating is pew seats and chairs.
There were four real ales on the bar,we had a drink of Bays Summer Ale which went down well, the other real ales were Skinners Porthleven,Sharps Coaster and Doom Bar.
There are great views over the harbour, we watched the Fowey Regatta from here.

A very pleasant pub on the harbour, well described by previous reviewers. It's not chocolate-boxy, just a good value working pub that sells good beer. Good use is made of the space available to provide sheltered outside areas as well as the more exposed patio at the front which was a good place to watch the boats passing by and admire the views across the estuary. We used the harbour-side entrance which, I think, made to feel different to other pubs in the town, less touristy. The locals were quite welcoming, the staff were friendly at first, although service was a bit brusque. The food was very good value, well cooked and tasty. There were five ales on: 4 Sharps and Skinners Lethven (at least I think that's what the label said) plus Rattler cider. The beers were in excellent condition, well up to the mark for GBG. This was an excellent stopping place, well worth a return visit.

A pub and eatery that also does B&B. The street frontage is in fact a passageway between Victorian buildings that leads to a courtyard area. From the riverside, the buildings look like modern brick 'warehouses', with a brick and glass conservatory, though they claim the building is 17th century. The riverside patio and dining area is quite nice on a summer's evening. In the GBG 2011.
The interior is a straight room with a side conservatory area giving an overall L-shape to the pub. It is a food place first and foremost. A door from the courtyard leads you into the bar/dining area, with the serving bar facing you. To the left there is a pool table. The decor is undressed stone walls with some wood panel, wood and wood beam ceiling, with stone flag floor. There is a small tiled fireplace and a TV, showing Sky Sports News at my visit. The music was general and at a decent level. Through a set of doors there is the conservatory dining area. It is in stone, brick and glass, with stone floor and barn style wood roof. Old photographs of the river and sea views, a few mirror and a few bistro paintings occupy the walls. The food was decent and the portions really good - hence we returned. The service was very good and it was packed on the two occasions we visited by a completely mixed crowd.
Beer; usual tap stuff, with a decent Blue Anchor Springo Ale, Sharpes Doombar and a very good Sharpes Cornish Coaster and Honey Gold.
We ate here a couple of times as it was cheaper than places around, but had good real ales and good service - it was very busy though. Worth a visit, even if not eating.

Visited this 2011 Good Beer Guide pub and it is delightful with a covered coridor from the street leading to the bar area via a sheltered covered courtyard. Dining area has views over the harbour and estuary, and the outside balcony is popular too. Good meal range and being a free house serves a variety of ales. Sharps and Skinners beers available our visit and we chose an excellend Sharps Honey Gold.

Good sized pub with a great terrace over-looking the estuary. I imagine this gets pretty packed and quite difficult to actually get a seat along the water's edge. Not much to look at from the street side (just an alleyway in fact) but worth making the effort to investigate further.
There was an Irish singer on a recent Saturday night visit who wasn't really to my taste but a few people were getting in to the singalong spirit.
It's nice to find a pub that not woned by St. Austell's in these parts. There were five beers on tap (three from Sharps) plus Blackthorn, Cornish Rattler and Scrumpy Jack ciders.
