To the left as you enter the hotel. It is what it is, which is a hotel lounge bar with the usual sofas and chairs dotted around a rather bland room. You can, however, sit on the balconies outside which overlook the pier below and the bay out yonder.

Clive Thompson left this review about The Connaught Bar at the Grand Hotel

As befits a hotel that calls itself The Grand, the bar has high ceilings, attractive coving and chandeliers. I wouldn't call it opulent though, it all seemed as bit contrived to me rather than historic (along with St Georges this is one of Llandudno's oldest hotels). The place has comfortable seating and large windows offer views of the bay and the prom, although visibility was poor on my visit due to driving rain. There's a small stage area where I imagine the, mainly elderly, clientele are entertained. Small bar with keg beer and I had a decent Manns Chestnut Mild at £2.40 a pint. This is definitely a hotel bar rather than a pub.
