Very basic single room boozer on Conwy's High Street. It was quite busy on my weekday afternoon visit.

There are a number of TV screens to show sport, along with multiple items of football memorabilia related to North West England teams.

Service was very slow to appear and the solitary real ale is Landlord. In truth, I could have changed the previous review to "An average pub that you may as avoid in if you're in Conwy"!

An average pub that you may as well go in if you're in Conwy.

Basic no nonsense pub. On entering I was greeted by the only other customer who seemed grateful that someone else had turned up - I realised later after he'd gone that the barman was to conversation what Prince Phillip is to international relations. I'd ordered a Celebration Ale from the local Conwy Brewery but, whilst it didn't taste that bad, it still hadn't cleared after 10 minutes. I mentioned this to the barman and I don't think he could have looked less interested if he'd tried. I told him I was leaving it and bought a half of Welsh Black, a strong mild, which was much better. An American couple came in and ordered one of each, as I left 5 minutes later I noticed that the Celebration Ale was still cloudy, as was my own pint which was still sitting on the bar. It’s probably not fair to judge the pub negatively on one visit though, and they did have two local beers on which I think is a good thing.

2 small rooms, its an ok pub in a very nice village. The front bar as you walk in has 'bus' type seating. Watch out if you're early, doesn't open til 12pm at lunch.

Smallish town pub in middle of High St. Has been refurbished in an open plan sort of way, in light colours, which seems to remove any real atmosphere. Has a couple of decent ales but otherwise average.

While in Conwy for the weekend, my husband was looking for a place to watch the MCFC game and found this place. There seemed to be a lot of City fans in Conwy! A small pub which was overcrowded at the time but otherwise seemed like a nice place.
