This is more like it. A good pub. Real ales available. And they're drinkable.

Have stayed in this pub many times when visiting the area...Great real ale choice, and the food is excellent,clientele very friendly and they have various nights ie quiz night and open mic night. Landlord and Landlady really make this pub a special watering hole...

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Tap & Spile
The best pub I visited in Bangor, by far, furnished in a traditional style. Choice of about 7 real ales, including the local Snowdonia Ale from Bragdy Mws Piws (Purple Moose Brewery). Handy stop before or after a bracing walk along the historic pier.
