Another locals pub with very friendly service. Nothing on the ale front so I had a quick Tetley's and moved on. Pool table.

A detached pub that, i think, was once the Railway. It is a long (two houses together) pub in white render, the modern doors and windows giving it a newer look it actually is - as, if it is the Railway, it is Victorian at heart. The interior is again, one long room with a lounge one end and a bar, with pool and darts, at the other. It is in the white artex and fake beam look. The TV had daytime stuff on and the music was general but quiet (there is a jukebox). A few landscape pictures are on the walls. It has two bars, but only one was operational selling no real ale, just basic keg stuff - i had half of Tuburg Lager. A few odd bits of ephemera are dotted about. The service was fine and the clientele, a few locals. Nothing for the real ale fan, but tidy enough.
