Blackthorn _ left this review about Llwyngwair Arms

A traditional pub in this very pleasant village, it seems to be more of a local’s boozer than many of the others nearby with no sign of food being offered, although it may perhaps have finished by the time that we were visiting.

It’s a reasonably open plan layout, although divided in to a couple of different areas. Quarry tiles were on the floor in the main bar area, along with chequered tiles in the adjacent bar to the right. Walls were a mixture of whitewashed stonework and rough white plaster elsewhere and there was an oar hanging from the ceiling. An exposed stone fire-place was off to one side along with a very modern and fake looking (i.e.; electric) wood burning stove, although there was a more conventional looking one in a brick fire-place elsewhere as well as a further free-standing one at the rear. A plasma was screen was mounted above it showing a terrestrial channel, although the volume was off so this was not too intrusive. There is also apparently a further large screen upstairs although we did not investigate this. A snug to the rear had a slate tiles floor and a selection of earthenware pots on the window sill and a number of whisky bottles were on a mantel piece.

Beers on tap were Gower Gold and Doom Bar, whilst the solitary cider was Stowford Press.
