This bar and restaurant is based in the old waiting room of the run down Pembroke Dock Railway Station. The building is quite attractive from the station forecourt and inside but there is no access from the platform. As you enter there is a dining area to the right and the bar area to the left. The floor is wooden and there is only a limited amount of railway memorabilia; I noted a couple of lamps and a couple of pictures. One was Castle class loco 5079 waiting to leave Bristol Temple Meads in front of the Bristolian and the other was the famous 9F 92220 Evening Star hauling a freight train at an unknown location. The place was quiet on my February Thursday evening visit.
The bar has four hand pumps with only two used which had Tiny Rebel Cwtch and Dutton. These were both in good nick and priced at £3.00.
This place is nice enough but I can't help thinking the landlady deserves better than this run down station on a rubbish branch line. It's GBG 2019 listed and is probably better in the summer.
